In the morning, head out on an excursion to witness the gems of Sikkim. You will be first visiting the Changu or Tsomgo Lake which is barely 35 kilometres from Gangtok. The stunning view of the crystal clear lake amidst the snowy summits is a sight to behold. Next, visit Baba Mandir after traveling for 18 kilometres cutting and running through the snow-capped mountains. Baba Mandir is a memorial commemorated to the brave Sepoy of Indian Army who lost his life around 30 years back in this region. Having explored the iconic attractions, you can return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Yumthang Valley, also known as the Sikkim Valley & back. The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok by late evening. Overnight at hotel.

Begin your day in the comfortable room and embark on a sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the famous Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest monastery in Sikkim. Built somewhere in the 12th century, it is known for its architecture that bears a strong resemblance to the original one in Tsurphu, Tibet. Thereafter attend the famous Flower Show, an absolute treat to eyes. Next, make way to Do Drul Chorten, a dome-shaped Buddhist shrine. Built in 1945, Do Drul Chorten is known for its 108 prayer wheels and gold plated tower on the top of the Chorten. Thereafter, visit Institute of Tibetology which features a library and museum with a rare collection of statues, coins, thangkas Tibetan artwork, etc. Head to the Cottage Industry from where you could pick handloom products like bags and some traditional dresses. See the breath-taking Bakthang Falls cascading down into a pool

Today, you have the entire day to explore the wonders of Pelling. Start your trip by visiting the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Believed to be three hundred years old, the monastery features beautiful sculptures and paintings with an ancient scroll of Padmasambhava’s eight incarnations. Next, proceed to Rabdentse Ruins where you can see a stone throne, which comprises of 3 standing stones, called Namphogang. After visiting Rabdentse Ruins, head to the Rambi Waterfall and then to Darap Village which is a tiny hamlet of the Limboo community and many other small families like Bhutias, Chettris, Tamangs, Rais, Gurungs and Lepcha. With the background of the beautiful hills, Darpa Village boasts of solitary places, far away from the urban cacophony.

After the breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. Overnight at Hotel.

At the break of the dawn between 4 AM - 5 AM, make your way to the Tiger Hill to see the glorious sunrise. Once you reach the point, watch the sun as it peeks over the horizon and creates a kaleidoscope of color that lights up the entire sky and Mount Kanchenjunga. After taking in the mesmerizing views, seek blessings at the *Ghoom Monastery, counted amongst the oldest monasteries in Darjeeling. You will be also enjoying a short stopover at the picturesque Batasia Loop. After paying your respects, head back to the hotel for breakfast. Thereafter, continue your sightseeing with a visit to the *Japanese Temple, known for its elegant architecture and lush landscapes. Proceed to the Japanese Peace Pagoda. Visit the *Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and explore the museum where on display are equipment and historical facts. Up next, visit the *Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, counted amongst the altitude zoos in India. While taking a stroll within the museum, you could see endangered species like red pandas, snow leopards, Tibetan wolf, etc. You could further spruce up your holiday by enjoying the toy train ride Darjeeling to Ghoom OR Ghoom to Darjeeling at your own expense. Since today is going to be last day of the Trip, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Bagdogra Airport to board a flight for onward journey.
