Pearson’s travel writing features Kerala's beautiful palm-fringed beaches, outstanding Mediterranean topography, scenic natural views, outstanding local hospitality and tranquil spiritual environment at its best. Stephanie is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and her travel feature had appeared in the Outside Magazine.
Stephanie’s travel writing is based on her experiences during her three-week Onam sojourn travel in the state. After the announcement of the award by the Ministry of Tourism of India, Stephanie reacted on her Twitter account - @stephanieapears mentioning, "I'm honored to receive this." Stephanie Pearson is a school teacher and science writer, who travelled more than 600 miles inside Kerala by car, houseboat, train, kayak and even on foot to experience the unique culture, spirituality and wildlife of Kerala.
