Chendamangalam

Chendamangalam or Chennamangalam is a residential area and a panchayat in Paravur Taluk, Ernakulam region in the territory of Kerala, India. It is around 23 km from Ernakulam. It has three waterways, seven bays, hillocks and vast regions of green plain. The Paliam Palace, home of the Paliath Achans, inherited Prime Ministers to the previous Maharajas of Kochi, is one of the compositional brilliant qualities of Kerala. Chendamangalam was a piece of Kanayanur taluk, of the past Cochin State. The panchayat was framed in 1914. Circumscribed by waterways on the north, east and south, it is a gathering spot of social decent iety. Jews, Christians, Muslims and a few of the unmistakable Hindu ranks lived here agreeably.
