Rohtang Pass - Located at a height of 3979 metres and at a distance of 51 kms from Manali, Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh. In winters, the pass remains closed but is open from June to October for motor vehicles. This pass is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. The best time to visit the pass is between May/June to October/November. In the month of May, Rohtang becomes a hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Tourists can go for ious thrilling activities like snow scooter, skiing and mountain biking. Nature lovers can enjoy beautiful views of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river that flows down in the Lahaul valley. There is a waterfall named as Rahala, which is located at a distance of 16 kms from Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. This waterfall flows down from an altitude of 2, 500 metres and looks amazingly wonderful. Photography buffs must visit this pass as they get to click one of the most beautiful pictures of nature. It is recommended to hire a local cab or take a bus, as the drive to Rohtang Pass becomes quite tough with slippery road and narrow curves. Manali has sight seeing options for visitors and guests to see places around Manali and local sight seeing. Normally three days are sufficient at Manali unless travellers have special interests to go beyond Rohtang Pass for Keylong & Udaipur taxi Tours Covering Ancient Trilokinath Shrine of equal importance to both Buddhists and Hindu believers. Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley along the banks of river Parvati, northeast of Bhuntar in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. It is at an altitude of 1760 m and is located about 40 km from Bhuntar. This small town attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its hot springs and piligrim centres. An experimental Geothermal Energy plant has also been set up here. Manikaran is a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. The Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area. It has many Temples and a Gurudwara. There are temples of Lord Rama, Krishna, and Vishnu. The area is well-known for its natural hot-water springs and its beautiful landscape. After Breakfast drive to Manikaran the World’s hottest Suplhur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Continue drive to Manali with a short stop at Kullu town visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. Later proceed to Manali. Overnight Stay.
