About Temple of Tal Barahi

Tal Barahi Temple is a little 2 story pagoda-style sanctuary dedicated to the divinity Tal Barahi. This Hindu sanctuary in nepal devoted to Ajima in the pig appearance, represation of the power of Shakti. Shakti is the Hindu mother goddess who is the starting point of the univese imagination and power. Shakti as a female power assumens a few parts.

As Durga, Shakti shields the gogs from evil spirits. Durga goes up against the sign of Ajima as a hog called Barahi to pirece her insidious foes with her pointed tusks. Barahi is pictureds with the substance of hog with a glass in one hand and fish in other hand. In that capacity, Barahi Temple is an imperative focal point of love for the Hindu enthusiasts. The first structure of the sanctuary is made of stone and has a thadched rooftop.

The sensational magnificence of its area it self pulls in everybody. As the Temple is on a little island in fewa lake, the best way to visit it is by vessel.
