About Town Hall

The Town Hall is a renovated Municipal Corporation building of Shimla. Built for the duration of the British regime in 1910, the Town Hall reveals structure paying homage to the pre-independence generation, preserved in its unique form. During non-summer months, the hill station of Shimla was ruled via the Municipal Board installed in 1851, which oversaw subjects bearing on water-deliver, sanitation, roads and taxation. The Town Hall became built on the muse stone laid by way of the Municipal Board.
