About Vietnam

The change that Vietnam has achieved in the past few decades or so, has to be seen to be believed. Vietnam was a name that reminded us of a turbulent past, but today it is synonymous with resurrection and a unique culture. Vietnam has heavily invested in improving the tourism infrastructure of the country, especially in the coastal region. Many world class resorts have come up and adventure sports too have hit a high in these parts. Situated in southeast Asia, Vietnam covers a total area of 331,690 km2 and incorporates all types of landscapes from vast flatlands to impressive lengths of coastlines. It has a total of 3260 km of coastline marked with clean white sandy beaches and small islands. Vietnam is bordered by China in the north, Cambodia to southwest, and South China Sea to west. Vietnam is mainly inhabited by 'The Kinh' people, the ethnic group that originated from the present day northern Vietnam and south China. They constitute nearly 86 percent of the total population of Vietnam. You will notice an amalgamation of Indian and Chinese culture with each holding on and exhibiting their finer features. Vietnam has heavily invested in improving the tourism infrastructure of the country, especially in the coastal region. The Halong Bay is probably the most preferred coastal destination in Vietnam. The inlands of Vietnam are punctuated with numerous beautiful lakes, rivers and mountain peaks giving an aesthetic feel to the country. Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam but the largest city is Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi has been the capital of Vietnam for more than a 1000 years and has turned itself into a cultural hub of the country. The main attraction of the city are The Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, and Ba Dinh Square. On the other hand, Ho Chi Minh is more commonly referred to as the historical city of Vietnam. Other main cities of Vietnam are Hai Phong, Da Nang and Can Tho.

what we booked was a day tour with japanese guide which.was approx 40usd higher than the tour with english guide. however, no japanese guide attended and contracted primary tour agence did even not that. then i called to the travel agency whos name is mr. matt nguyen in threeland travel dba grayline vietnam to ask for reimbursement. he did not say any apologize, even he promised to send an e-mail to me to explain how to refund tge money back by eob though, no e-mail comes from the company. the c
