Wat Phra That Nong Bua is a Dhammyuttika temple, one of the most imperative temples in Ubon Ratchathani. The best part of this place is Sri Maha Pho Chedi, which was worked in 1956 to respect of 2500 years of Buddhism. The sparkling gold and white chedi at this temple freely looks like the Mahabodhi stupa in Bodhgaya, India. The old stupa with 5 meters wide and 1 meters high is presently housed by the new 55-meter stupa square base. It remains amidst a marble pieces square, with littler stupas at each corner.
Around this components there are different less prominent structures including a substantial late ubosot with huge round windows and a sitting Buddha at the front. Today, Wat Phra That Nong Bua is the place Buddha relics are put away. Guests can come and pay regard and experience tranquil condition for contemplation.
